On The Ball Dog Training is now working with Creature Comfort Pet Therapy to help bring the love and comfort of handler and dog teams to people in need. Creature Comfort Pet Therapy is a non-profit organization certifying pet therapy teams to visit people in need of comfort or therapy. Creature Comfort is partnered with nursing homes, schools, libraries, hospitals, hospice, mental health centers, and veterans’ programs.

This 6 week pet therapy training class will prepare you and your canine companion for the Creature Comfort evaluation. During the 6 weeks of training, we will firm up your dogs' basic obedience skills and manners, introduce them to medical equipment and expose them to handling by others so they can be confident and comfortable in various settings and around numerous people.
